The Multicultural Filmmakers Collective, commonly referred to as MultiCulti, is an RTVF student group that seeks to nurture, promote, and ally multicultural student filmmakers at Northwestern University, as well as support student films that present multicultural concerns and experiences. The Northwestern University Women Filmmakers Alliance (NUWFA) is "a student group dedicated to unifying, educating, and promoting female filmmakers at Northwestern University and in the Chicagoland area."

An annual event organized by [[URSA]] for new RTVF students. On the first Friday of the student participants watch ''Battle Royale'', while counselors make fake blood. Then, the next day participants go to Chain O'Lakes State Park where they re-enact and record their version of the movie. Every participant is given a "weapon" to defend themselves. Weapons have included china balls, nail files, rubber chickens, tissues and more.
