- The description is a little weird/underdeveloped. I know of mixers that have been held in places other than a frat house, and I think sororities may plan mixers too. Also, I know at other schools, sororities and fraternities have had mixers with sports teams. I don't think the current description really explains all the different things that the word "mixer" can entail. Rita (talk)
