Description
A student in the Medill school of journalism. The term is usually introduced to Medill students by their peer advising group during Wildcat Welcome. Many Medill students find the term obnoxious because it comes with the connotation of an over-bearing and over-eager person (see Medildo). The term is a combination of the words ‘Medill’ and ‘millionaire.'
Usage
This term is generally used by Medill students to describe themselves. Sometimes it is used as a form of praise, and other times it is used ironically. It is often used with a hashtag in posts on social media sites.
