Description
The Northwestern University "Wildcat" Marching Band, or NUMB, is the official marching band of Northwestern University and was founded in 1911. NUMB does on-field pregame and halftime performances, as well as some postgame performances for all home football games. When not performing on-field, NUMB plays stands tunes and cheers for the team in the stands. NUMB also performs for "Wildcat Alley" before home games. In addition to home games, NUMB performs at all post-season football games and one official away game each season. The current band director is Mr. Daniel J. Farris. The SpiriTeam plays an integral role during NUMB's performances in the stands.
