A shortened form of "Bible study", which is when a group meets together to study a passage of the Bible together.
Usage
This slang is primarily used among Christian groups. Among these groups, about a third of respondents had never heard the word and almost two thirds never use the word, suggesting that the slang is low in popularity. [1]
