"Fossil Free NU is having a rally today to raise awareness about Northwestern's investment in coal industries."

Etymology

Fossil Free NU was originally launched in 2012 as the Responsible Endowment Coalition, but was later renamed to Divest Northwestern or Divest NU. However, there was too much confusion with other divestment campaigns, particularly NU Divest and Divest Northeastern, and so the name of this group was changed to Fossil Free NU.
