Description
The Multicultural Filmmakers Collective, commonly referred to as MultiCulti, is an RTVF student group that seeks to nurture, promote, and ally multicultural student filmmakers at Northwestern University, as well as support student films that present multicultural concerns and experiences. This includes any perspectives that are not often represented, including, but not limited to people of color, women, LGBT, and religious minorities.
MultiCulti was founded in 2012. Beginning in 2013 they've given an annual $500 grant towards a film that reflects the MultiCulti mission statement. MultiCulti can be used to refer to the student group or the grant itself.
