Description

Abbreviation for "Student Theatre Coalition."

Why It's Wild

StuCo is a collective of nine student theatre groups and two dance groups, each with its own executive board and performance series. It started in 2004 to provide organizational support for the common practices of the student theatre community at Northwestern, including general auditions for shows, space allocation, and acquisition and maintenance of shared equipment.[1] The president(s) of StuCo send out a listserv email called TWIST each week to update the community on events and opportunities. The theatre speech community most commonly uses StuCo, both written and spoken in informal social contexts on campus.
