After discussing with the editing group, I edited the description to include only the part relevant to the Northwestern community. The previous had the first definition as "a derogatory term for a female or a prostitute," which is not the unique Northwestern-specific usage that WildWords is trying to uncover. Later classes may decide they want to include the alternative usage that is not Northwestern-specific, as well, but in any case, I think the Northwestern-specific definition should be the first one listed. After discussing with the editing group, I edited the description to include only the part relevant to the Northwestern community. The previous had the first definition as "a derogatory term for a female or a prostitute," which is not the unique Northwestern-specific usage that WildWords is trying to uncover. Later classes may decide they want to include the alternative usage that is not Northwestern-specific, as well, but in any case, I think the Northwestern-specific definition should be the first one listed.
