A unique vocal sound or chant of a particular Greek organization that is used to gain recognition or attention. Calls are used primarily in MGC and NPHC organizations and may vary regionally within organizations. Many organizations use more than one call.
Usage
The term is used primarily in the Multicultural Greek Council and National Pan-Hellenic communities. It is used both in informal and formal contexts as well as in spoken word and written text.
