Definition

An undergraduate student group at Northwestern that discusses the subject of linguistics by reading research papers and novels. There is also discussion regarding student run projects. Despite the name, it is not syntax focused.

Why It's Wild

This club is active on Northwestern's Evanston campus, and run by Dr. Masaya Yoshida of the Linguistics department (as of 2017).
