Definition

Nona Jo's is the student-athlete dining hall on the third floor of the Walter Athletics Center at Northwestern. It serves breakfast and lunch, but only certain teams may go at specific meals, as the meals come out of the team's budget. Student-athletes swipe in with their wildcard and are checked off of a list that shows their sport and name. There are optional to go containers for athletes with classes during meal times. The menu is created with the help of the nutrition staff of the athletics department. It is named for Northwestern trustee Querrey's grandmother 'Nona' and Aunt Jo. It is often shown to recruits who may eat lunch with team members in order to experience a part of life as a student-athlete at Northwestern.

Example Sentence
