Description
A choreographed line dance performed by members of a Greek organization. A tradition of many MGC and NPHC organizations, a stroll is usually performed at step shows, stroll shows, and parties where many other Greek members are present. In various regions, strolling is also referred to as "party-walking," but this is not observed at Northwestern.
Usage
The term is used primarily in the Multicultural Greek Council and National Pan-Hellenic communities. It is used both in informal and formal contexts as well as in spoken word and written text.
