Throwback
"Throwback" is meant to be a category tag applied to words that are no longer in active use. These words may be used by certain members of the community who are long-standing, or by the alumni community, and even by some current students but are judged to be canonically obsolete by the students of the dictionary course and other site editors.
Examples of "throwback" words:
- Blackboard is obsolete because it is a course management system that has been replaced by Canvas
