The Purple Line is a an “L” (CTA) line that runs between La Salle Station in the Chicago Loop and Linden street station in Wilmette. The purple line has various stations across NU campus and is the CTA train students are able to take when they want to use the CTA as a way to get downtown. The purple line has stops students often use at Davis Street, Foster Street and Noyes Street.

Why It’s Wild

This is a phrase while not unique to the NU community, is a term those outside of the Chicago/Evanston area would have no idea of. Students not native to the area would likely be unaware of what the purple line is.
