Why It's Wild
The Dolphin Show began in 1939 when the men's swimming team formed the Dolphin Club to compete at meets across Chicago. The show involved a musical revue and aquatic feats with various student groups until 1970, when the first stage production took place in Cahn Auditorium. Since then, the show has been an annual stage production done entirely by Northwestern undergraduate students. [1]
The show involves over 150 students each year across the cast, musicians, artistic team, and business team. It takes places during late January in Cahn Auditorium each year. As one of the members of StuCo, the production draws members from across the Northwestern theatre community and from outside of it.
The 2017 production, Little Shop of Horrors, toured Bosnia and Herzegovina during spring break. [2]
