Description

Often referred to simply as "Cahn" by students and faculty, Cahn Auditorium is the largest performance space on campus with over 1,000 seats and an orchestra pit. It sits on south campus at the intersection of Emerson St. and Sheridan Rd.

History

Built in 1940, Cahn Auditorium is named for Bertram Cahn, a civic leader, donor, trustee, alumnus, and chairman of B. Kuppenheimer and Company.

Tradition

In additional to various other productions, the annual Waa-Mu show is staged in Cahn Auditorium.
