Description

Often referred to simply as "Cahn" by students and faculty, Cahn Auditorium is the largest performance space on campus with over 1,000 seats and an orchestra pit.[1] It sits on south campus at the intersection of Emerson St. and Sheridan Rd.

History

Built in 1940, Cahn Auditorium is named for Bertram Cahn, a civic leader, donor, trustee, alumnus, and chairman of B. Kuppenheimer and Company.[1]

Tradition

In additional to various other productions, the annual Waa-Mu show is staged in Cahn Auditorium.[1]
