Description
Greek Life at Northwestern comprises of Greek Lettered Organizations that belong to either one of four councils or comprises as an auxiliary organization, such as a service-oriented fraternity, co-ed fraternity, or an honor society.
The four councils include Interfraternity Council, Multicultural Greek Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council, and Panhellenic Council.
Usage
The term is used in the Northwestern Community at large. It is used both in informal and formal contexts as well as in spoken word and written text.
