Etymology

The center was constructed in 1974 with the help of a donation from Chicago’s Crown family, who began selling gravel, sand, lime, and coal in 1919 and by 1959 owned one of the most powerful investment firms in the nation.

Description

Short for the Robert Crown Center [1], a recreation center located at 1701 Main St. in Evanston. The Chandler gymnastics coaches teach four gymnastics classes (two preschool classes, a beginning class, and an advanced beginning class) at this location from 9 am to 12 pm on Saturdays.

Usage
