Why It's Wild

The nickname "BK Lounge" was used by as early as the 1970s by students, who were the primary customers at this 24-hour eatery. As one of the few late-night food options in Evanston, Burger King is remembered for its subpar yet necessary food and atmosphere. Northwestern Alum and "Late Show" host Stephen Colbert (SoC '86) referenced BK Lounge in a video made for Dance Marathon, which can be found on the NUDM Facebook.
